The ROM memory used in smartphones and tablets etc. is often same as flash memory found in SD cards and USB flash drives, simply optimized for better speed and performance while running the operating system. The “stock ROM” comes installed on the phone or tablet, while a “custom ROM” comes from a third party. The custom ROM is either a uniquely modified OS, such as Lineage os, Cyanogen, Ressurection Remix or a stock version made available for older devices or for new devices before the vendor release date. If you have a device with a Qualcomm CPU and you want to know how to use QPST (Qualcomm Product Support Tool) for firmware flashing, below is a tutorial to help you flash stock ROM (.MBN) file to any compatible device.
QPST Tool can be used to flash the firmware to devices with Qualcomm chips.
